Dr. Fresco the Zeus is a premium Japanese cosmetological scrubber-device with an ultrasonic ionic technology, with three stages of skin cleansing. Dr. Fresco The Zeus is created for an effective skin cleansing. The device is designed to clean pores and «blackheads», to remove dead cells from the surface of the skin, to narrow pores, to even the skin microrelief, and also to deliver cosmetics into the deep layers of skin.

I. Ultrasonic Cleansing Mode (Ultrasonic)

This mode and its cleansing effect are based on high frequency sound vibrations – ultrasonic waves, emitted by a metal plate («spatula»). They apply an alternating acoustic pressure on the liquid environment on the skin, and form «microstreams», which weaken the connections between the dying horn cells on the skin surface and provide their easy removal. 30 000 vibrations per second affect the skin and «wash out» the impurities from pores together with water or a cleansing agent. At the same time it does not damage, stretch or deform the skin. Ultrasonic peeling is a maximally superficial and atraumatic face cleansing.

The procedure allows to clean pores, eliminate comedones and horny particles without traumatizing skin, improve the complexion, neutralize the excessive sebum production. The ultrasonic cleansing procedure does not traumatize skin and needs no rehabilitation.

There’s a built-in blue LED lamp in the device (0,5-1 mm penetration) affecting the skin directly during the procedure. The blue LED light has anti-inflammatory properties. Blue LED light impact prevents rash and bacterial skin infection, provides an anti-bacterial impact. Ultrasonic cleansing is considered to be an integral part of beauty routine from a teenage period and one of the basic components of any treatment procedure – both at salon or at home.

II. Ionic cleansing/product delivery mode (Intermittent Ultrasonic minus)

Dr. Fresco the Zeus device has an Impulse Ultrasonic Waves mode (impulse iontophoresis, negative charge). This mode is used in two cases:

1. Before the main stage of ultrasonic cleansing it is recommended to clean the surface of the skin and open the pores for further stages of the procedure. Super-wave vibration is produced together with the impact of negatively charged ions. For this pre-cleansing stage you will need a special ionic lotion with negatively charged ions, specifically Artistic&Co. product – Aqua Healing Mist. The procedure of the impulse iontophoresis efficiently removes surface impurities (dust, dead cells, impurities of the environment) and prepares the pores for a deeper cleansing.

2. The second application of this mode is used at the end of all the peeling stages. During the procedure the flat side of the spatula is located towards the skin, the impact is produced along the massage lines. Such an impact restores the diameter of pores, stimulates metabolic processes and delivers active ingredients of cosmetics to the living cells, activates redox processes in the skin. The procedure should be performed upon fabric masks.

The negatively charged ionic impact:

• increases the activity of the sebaceous and sweat glands;
• opens the pores;
• increases vascular permeability;
• loosens the corneal layer of the skin;
• improves the cellular metabolism.

III. Final cleansing mMode (Intermittent Ultrasonic plus)

Japanese developers added one more cleansing stage to Dr. Fresco the Zeus device – Impulse Ultrasonic Waves mode (impulse iontophoresis, positive charge). The «on switch» button should be pressed three times to activate this mode. This impact completes the three-stage procedure of skin cleansing. The procedure is performed with a cotton pad moistened with water (as in mode II).

The positively charged ionic impact:

• reduces the activity of the glands;
• tightens the pores;
• increases the acidity of the skin.

The final cleansing mode is considered to fully complete the procedure. The maximum amount of various kinds of impurities is removed , and the skin goes through the most correct succession of impacts to achieve the optimal result.

To perform the procedure You will need Dr. Fresco The Zeus device, negatively charged tonic or lotion (for ionic cleansing «minus») and water (for ultrasonic cleansing and ionic cleansing «plus»). For massage and product delivery You will need products enriched with vitamins, amino acids, collagen – serums, mesoconcentrates, fabric masks or gel masks, most suitable for your skin type, with negatively charged ions. The battery of the device should be charged beforehand.

Performing the procedure in cleansing mode

Before carrying out the procedure with the Artistic&Co. device it is necessary to clean your face thoroughly and remove makeup residues.

If you have an Aqua Healing Mist lotion or any other negatively charged product for ionic cleansing, you should start the procedure with the «INTERMITTENT ULTRASONIC MINUS» mode – double click the «on-switch» button. The mode is accompanied by an interval sound signal.

If there’s no lotion, the procedure should start with ultrasonic cleansing mode and the treated skin area should be moistened with water. The mode is activated with a single click of the «on-switch» button.

The «ionic cleansing plus» mode (INTERMITTENT ULTRASONIC PLUS) completes the procedure of deep cleansing, it is conducted with water. The mode is activated with three clicks of the «on-switch» button.

Apply the cosmetic product or water on the treated skin surface.

Switch on the necessary mode and locate the metal spatula of the device with its convex part upwards at the angle of 40-45 degrees to the skin surface. Slowly move the spatula from the periphery to the center of the face.

When using the device, you should always keep your face moisturized.

If necessary the metal plate can be cleaned from impurities and excess liquid with a cotton pad.

Time of each procedure is 5 minutes, after which the device turns off automatically, and if you turn on the device again, you can proceed to the next stage.

Performing the procedure in delivery mode

The procedure in delivery mode is final after all the cleansing stages.

Apply a cosmetic product with active ingredients or a fabric mask on your face, their efficiency increases under the influence of ultrasound.

Turn the spatula on 180 degrees and click the «on-switch» button twice (accompanied by an impulse sound signal), then slowly move the spatula along the massage line of the face.

Time of the procedure is 5 minutes.
